With the looming deadline of new legislation coming into force in May 2018, we’re asking you to take a moment to review the new privacy policy of Ashton on Mersey FC.

Ashton on Mersey FC acknowledges that all of the above should be protected from poor practice and from all forms of abuse.

Ashton on Mersey FC will not tolerate any form of inappropriate language or threatening behaviour from parents, guests, spectators, visitors, officials or club representatives on match sidelines, particularly that aimed towards match officials and participating children.

Ashton on Mersey FC reserves the right to ask any individual demonstrating actions deemed to conflict with this policy to move away from the match sidelines and, if necessary, to leave club premises.

PLAYERS’ CODE OF CONDUCT


  1. To up-hold the name of Ashton on Mersey FC. at all times.
  2. To listen to the Team Manager & coaches, when coaching is being given.
  3. To respect their fellow team mates.
  4. To show respect to their Team Managers & coaches.
  5. To respect all opponents irrespective of the result of a game.
  6. To demonstrate Fair Play & Sportsmanship.
  7. To accept & respect Refereeing decisions & all other match officials.
  8. To demonstrate appropriate behaviour at all times i.e. at matches, training & when on official Club business.
  9. To accept success & failure & victory & defeat equally.
  10. To try their best in training sessions & in matches.
  11. Above all to enjoy their football & be proud of their Club!

PARENTS’ CODE OF CONDUCT


  1. To up-hold the name of Ashton on Mersey FC. at all times.
  2. To ensure that their child is available for training sessions & matches & to transport them to & from venues.
  3. To accept responsibility for their child at matches & tournaments.
  4. To respect Team Managers & coaches decisions.
  5. To accept & respect Refereeing decisions & other match officials.
  6. To respect the opposition.
  7. To encourage & applaud the children playing soccer – including the opposition!
  8. To practice the Club & League rules concerning Fair Play at all matches.
  9. To co-operate with & support the Team Managers & coaches.
  10. To refrain from coaching the players from the line in match situations.
  11. To demonstrate appropriate behaviour at all times i.e. at matches, training & when on official Club business.
  12. To keep the Club informed of any change of address or contact telephone numbers for safety reasons.
  13. To read the Club rules & observe the guidelines.
  14. To show support to the Club & its philosophies.

COACHES CODE OF CONDUCT


  1. To act in the best interests of the children concerned at all times.
  2. To never discriminate against any child.
  3. To be aware of the safety of players at all times.
  4. To observe all Child Protection policies, F.A. Law & League rules.
  5. To observe F.A. guidelines concerning goal post safety.
  6. To respect the players & their parents.
  7. To respect the opposition.
  8. To accept & respect Refereeing decisions & other match officials.
  9. To up-hold the name of Ashton on Mersey FC at all times.
  10. To practice the League & Club rules concerning Fair Play at all times.
  11. To demonstrate appropriate behaviour at all times i.e. at matches, training & when on official Club business.
  12. To take the necessary FA coaching qualifications.
  13. To never exert undue influence to obtain personal benefit or reward.
  14. To endeavour to ensure that the players enjoy their football.
  15. To ensure that the training sessions they conduct are appropriate for the age, maturity & experience of the players.
  16. To act within the guidelines & philosophies of the Club.
  17. To avoid participating in instant messaging (eg. WhatsApp) and/or Internet based social networks (e.g. Facebook) where the messaging and/or social networks involve private communications with Children at Ashton on Mersey FC.

CLUB CODE OF CONDUCT


  1. To act in the best interests of the children concerned at all times.
  2. To act within the guidelines stipulated by the Football Association.
  3. To act within the guidelines stipulated by League that the players are entered into.
  4. To observe an equal opportunities policy for the players concerned.
  5. To ensure that children are not discriminated against because of race or sex.
  6. To ensure that child safety guidelines are observed, paying particular attention to goal post safety.
  7. To observe Child Protection policies.
  8. To ensure that all expenditure from Club funds is made in the best interest of the players concerned.
  9. To strive to provide the best training facilities for the players according to Club funds.
  10. To safeguard the assets of the Club i.e. all Club equipment.
